Neck pain that limits your day deserves more than a heat pack. We fix the cause.

We are the local clinic — 5/6–8 Langmore Lane, minutes from Berwick Village. Neck pain is one of the most common things we see here, and in an established suburb like Berwick it usually arrives with a long history attached. The typical presentation is not a sudden injury but something that has been building quietly for years: a desk worker whose neck has deteriorated across a decade in the same chair and the same setup, someone who has been getting headaches from the base of the skull for so long they have stopped mentioning it, or a tradesperson with a decade of overhead work behind them. By the time people book, most have already tried heat, massage, and waiting it out.
For a full explanation of what causes neck pain, how the different presentations are told apart, and what recovery usually looks like, read our complete guide to neck pain.
The assessment covers cervical range of motion, joint mobility testing, neurological screening, and muscle patterning — and with the long-history presentations that are typical here, it also covers what the neck has actually been doing for the last ten years. Treatment combines targeted joint mobilisation or manipulation, soft tissue release through the suboccipital and shoulder girdle muscles, and postural retraining. For desk workers we go through the workstation specifically, because treating the neck weekly while it spends forty hours a week in the position that caused the problem does not hold. Acute presentations usually improve in 3–5 sessions. Long-standing postural neck pain takes longer, and the honest framing is that we are undoing years of adaptation — but you should see a clear direction early.
